Peter Boyer is a conservative Republican, Army veteran, public servant, husband, and father who believes that strong families, faith, hard work, and local communities are the foundation of Wyoming’s success.
Raised with a deep appreciation for faith and personal responsibility, Peter credits his mother for instilling the values that continue to guide his life today. Those values of service, integrity, and commitment to others led him to serve his country in the United States Army, where he learned the importance of leadership, sacrifice, and putting mission before self.
After his military service, Peter built a career in Wyoming’s oil fields and transportation industry, gaining firsthand experience with the challenges and opportunities facing working families and the industries that drive Wyoming’s economy. He understands the value of hard work and the importance of policies that support job creation, economic growth, and opportunity.
Peter’s commitment to public service continued in Bar Nunn, where he served on the Town Council before being elected Mayor. Throughout his years of local leadership, he has worked to ensure that government remains transparent, fiscally responsible, and focused on improving infrastructure and essential services to the community. His experience at the local level has reinforced his belief that the best decisions are made closest to the people affected by them.
Peter and his wife are proud to be raising their three children in Wyoming. Like many parents, they want their children—and future generations—to have the opportunity to build successful lives without leaving the state they call home. That commitment fuels Peter’s work to strengthen Wyoming’s economy, protect taxpayers, and create opportunities that keep young people in Wyoming.
When he’s not serving his community, Peter enjoys spending time with his family, exploring Wyoming’s unique sites and attractions, shooting, fishing, camping and hiking, and taking advantage of the recreational opportunities that make the state such a special place to live.
Peter is running for Wyoming House District 58 to be a strong conservative voice for property tax relief, economic growth, local control, and the Wyoming values that have made our state strong. He is committed to preserving Wyoming’s way of life and ensuring that future generations can live, work, and thrive here for years to come.
